PowerUp Event Brand Refresh

PowerUp was entering its fifth year, giving the team an opportunity to refresh the event identity with a more current, celebratory look. My concept was selected and developed into a system that continued to be used beyond the anniversary year.

PROJECT STORY

Five Years Forward

The fifth-year milestone created a reason to evolve the PowerUp identity without losing the recognition it had already built. I explored typography, proportion, hierarchy, and form to create a direction that felt more confident, flexible, and ready to carry into future events.

FEATURED WORK

From Identity to Experience

The refreshed identity needed to work well beyond the logo, carrying consistently across event spaces, digital touchpoints, printed materials, and supporting brand pieces.

Identity + Exploration

Early concepts explored different typographic weights, proportions, and forms before arriving at the selected direction.

Environmental + Event

The refreshed identity was brought into the physical event environment through large-format graphics and signage designed to create a consistent presence throughout the space.

Digital + Training

Digital and training materials extended the same visual system into presentations, screens, and resources used throughout the event.

Supporting Event Materials

Smaller event touchpoints carried the refreshed identity into the details, helping the brand stay connected from one piece to the next.

TAKEAWAY

Built to Last

The refresh began as a way to mark PowerUp’s fifth year, but the identity continued to be used afterward. That gave the event a stronger visual system without tying it to a single anniversary.
